LOW ISLES SAILAWAY & SAILAWAY SUNSET SAIL Based in Port Douglas, Low Isles Sailaway is enjoyed by many domestic and international visitors looking for a personal reef, island and sailing experience to a unique tropical location. Our company philosophy is to welcome our guests on board as friends, and share the unique experience of spending a day on a remote tropical island. Sailaway has been awarded for recognising “best practice” procedures, and we hold an accreditation certificate in Advanced Eco Tourism. Sailaway IV & Sailaway V are sister vessels, modern sailing catamarans, offering a five star, reef and island cruise to Low Isles. Guests can explore this protected Coral Cay, with white sandy beaches and coconut palms, surrounded by magnificent coral gardens and the Coral Sea. With a maximum of only 33 guests, Sailaway ensures enjoyment with small passenger numbers and personal attention from helpful and friendly crew. The lagoon is alive with fragile corals and marine life, making it the ideal place to snorkel and join the guided snorkel tour with our Marine Naturalist. Enjoy the opportunity to swim with turtles in their natural habitat. A glass bottom boat tour, coral viewing with reef interpretation is also included. Two departures daily are available from 8.30am – 4.00pm offering a full day cruise, ideal for all ages and a relaxed late departure at 1.00pm – 6.30pm suitable to adults only and incorporating the Sunset Sail on the homeward journey. Sailaway Sunset Sail is a ‘must do” when in Port Douglas. Enjoy the thrill of pure sailing and soak up the peace and tranquillity of a tropical sunset over the Coral Sea with spectacular mountain views.
