This tour will take you to some places where the Celtics used to live, worked and had mystically places. We will drive with you to the village of Hallstatt, where you have the possibility to visit the salt mines (only visible between April and November) and some other Celtic spots in the area. Then you will drive with you on the way back by the mystically water fall of Golling where already the Celtics had a mystically place and we can also visit the Canyon of the hammer river which the Celtics used as a holy place.  Between the end of November and the beginning of April you can visit the salt mines of Hallein, the waterfalls and then see the city of Hallstatt and the lake district area.

The "Highlights" are an entertaining and easy-going 40-minute show during which the most popular and well-known songs and arias from The Magic Flute and The Sound of Music are performed. Opened in 1913, the Salzburg Marionette Theater is one of the world’s oldest marionette theaters and celebrates the city’s long tradition of puppetry. The theater stages a range of productions using a cast of around 500 wooden puppets, from operas and fairy tales to "The Sound of Music" - the 1959 movie that showcased the city and its puppetry. Actually, "The Lonely Goatherd" and the puppet scene in The Sound of Music where inspired by this theatre The venue operates as an opera house in miniature, hosting regular performances in its 300-seat baroque-style auditorium. The Salzburg Marionette Theatre employs 12 puppeteers, trained in a wide variety of trades and professions. Qualities common to all of them are musicality, manual skill, and the ability to empathise with the various characters in order to bring alive the marionettes on the stage. The Salzburg Marionette Theatre has evolved its own technique, which is used as a model by many marionette theatres worldwide and belongs to the intangible cultural heritage of UNESCO since 2016. Alternatively you can visit the 5 Fingers viewing platform – this is probably the most spectacular viewing platform in the Alps and reaches out like a hand over the 400m drop. But it is not just the viewing platform it is also the route there that offers plenty of special features. After your adventure in the mountains or the salt mine you will have enough time to discover all the hidden gems as well as the must-sees of Hallstatt, as well as to have lunch in one of the beautiful lake side restaurants (at own expense). On your way home from Hallstatt, the Gosausee with its backdrop of the glistening Dachstein glacier awaits for a short stop.
