Our host took us on a bus ride to two cemetery sites. She told stories of the died. Some of the stories were so unbelievable that I had to look them up online later. They were true. It was a great tour. I loved getting to see San Diego at night and the history that most people don’t know.

This was an awesome tour!! The guide was amazing with her story telling, she really held my attention, and even dressed in character!! I thought this tour was going to be scary but it was actually very informative about the history of San Diego!! I would definitely recommend this tour but make sure you wear comfortable shoes and be ready to walk a little.

The history was great, but the tour should be longer and include additional sites for the fees paid. We made three stops: Pioneer Park, El Campo Santo Cemetery, and the grounds of the Whaley House. We did not tour or get to see the Maritime Museum or it's grounds, as advertised on the website. (Most of our time was spent at the park standing around after the presentation.) An abbreviated history was given of the Whaley House on the assumption tourists would pay an additional fee to tour the attraction. The brochure implied there would be more characters involved in the tour. (The three gentlemen on website and brochure.)
