We had a great time on the harbor tour. We took the two-hour tour and were able to see and experience both the north and south harbors. The crew were very friendly and helpful. The narration for both segments was great. We learned a lot about the harbor area which helped us to plan new things to do in San Diego. Well worth it!

Such a glorious day for a Harbor Cruise! (I guess almost everyday is a glorious day in sunny SD!) Wasn't crowded on the boat on the day we went. We were able to hear everything during the narration which was fun and interesting. We could see almost everything pointed out to us because the guide had helpful descriptors for bldgs, ships, and swatches of land. So fun to see the land from the water.

The pier the boat left from was right next to the parking lot (next to USS Midway) which was handy. Watch the parking here as we arrived at 1045 and only another 3-4 cars got in after us and the lot was full. It was easy to find seating on board and the crew were very helpful. It is possible to get drinks and snacks on board (they seem to come with a mandatory tip though) . The narrated tour could be heard better during the 2nd leg (it goes to the naval base first, back to the pier, change passengers then does the North leg). The sea base leg gives a good view of Coronado island also and a close up of a lot of shipping that is in port. It doesn’t go the full length of the base (but I guess as far as you’re allowed).
