1. Guadalajara: San Luis Soyatlán and Vineyards Tour With Lunch

If you’ve already explored Guadalajara’s downtown historic district and have already drunk your weight in tequila, you might think your Guadalajaran adventure is over. Not quite! Start the day at mid-morning with a seamless pick-up from your accommodation. In the comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle you’ll head to the charming town of San Luis Soyatlan. Visit a favorite local restaurant and drink some vampiritos (at own expense). This is the town’s signature red-colored cocktail. (It’s five o’clock somewhere, right?) From there you’ll head to a nearby vineyard and go on a guided tour of the area, marveling at the grounds and space of the vineyard. Afterward, sit down at the hacienda and partake of a specially curated local feast. Dine with the locals and swap stories as they share their stories of growing up in the area. Make sure to leave some room for a wine and cheese tasting too! After filling your belly with delicious food, go on a tour of the facilities, learning about the particular processes they have to produce their wines and spirits. Then you’ll bid your hosts farewell and board the vehicle to make your way back to your accommodation in Guadalajara.
