  • From San Sebastian: Path of St. Ignatius Three Temples Tour

    3. From San Sebastian: Path of St. Ignatius Three Temples Tour

Start your tour with a pick-up from your accommodation. First, go to the Sanctuary of Loyola, which was also visited by Pope John Paul II. Next, follow the path that led St. Ignatius from his hometown in Loyola to Montserrat and arrive in the town of Zumarraga in the San Sebastian region. Discover the hermitage that he visited first called La Antigua. Finally, visit the Sanctuary of Aranzazu, a Franciscan sanctuary. The shrine is a much-appreciated place among Gipuzkoans, with the Virgin of Arantzazu as the main figure of worship.  Along the way, take a break for lunch. This will be included in the price with 2 main dishes, a dessert, and wine or water as drinks options.

Josu was the best guide, both gratious and kind! The sanctuaries were amazing as well as the lunch!!! It was personal and educational!!! I would recommend this as a “must do” for tourists!!!
