It went wrong when picking up, we received an email that we had to stand outside the gate. Final score was the driver in the lobby. Very chaotic in terms of collecting. At the 1st sight you noticed that it is purely about the more people, the better. You are really expected to give tips, they really ask for this. The rest was fun but super tiring.

Along the tour some nice spots of Santo Domingo can be seen and partly visited. Our tour guide was great and gave us some interesting background information. Also spots for purchasing original dominican gifts were included - as well as a place to have a very tasty lunch. Despite the long carriage way the tour seems a little bit expensive compared to the content of the tour. Nevertheless, we enjoyed the tour and took some nice memories.

I give it 5 stars because it was more than I expected and it’s good value for the money you pay. Although everything is on a hurry and you don’t have the time to really enjoy the city, it’s understandable, because it’s difficult to make everything in one day, including transport from and to Punta Cana. But you do get to see the main attractions and even enjoy a free lunch. On a downside, the English version of the guide is poor, you better do some research about the city beforehand, because the information you get from the guide is little and sometimes hard to understand.
