Full description
Discover the beautiful Greek island of Santorini and explore idyllic villages with their traditional architecture. First visit the village of Mesa Gonia, which was completely destroyed during the great earthquake of 1956 and therefore also called "Ghost Village." Stroll through the village – again inhabited – and admire the charming architecture. Then discover the village of Pyrgos and its architecture typical of the Cyclades. Admire the Byzantine churches and a Venetian fortress. The village is one of the highest points on the island. Enjoy wonderful views of the northwest of Santorini. Finish the tour in Oia with an unforgettable sunset.

First of all: We booked the tour via Get your Guide and additionally received a different time for picking up from Kamari Tours, which was annoying and irritating at the beginning of the vacation. So we went to the tour office the evening before and had one received current voucher. I would have liked to get only one statement about the tour and not two statements that only confuse! The tour itself was accompanied by a friendly and cheerful guide! At first it was irritating that in Pyrgos, the Byzantine chapel and the ghost village it was only a very short, almost rushed stay, even though we got really interesting and good information from the guide. At the end of the tour this confusion cleared up for me: the main focus and the time is simply Oia as probably the most popular place on the island that simply offers so much that you want to give the participants enough time to stay there - and rightly so :) Nice tour. Interesting. Guide top

Nice recommended trip! Unfortunately in the wrong language!

The trip was well organized. The pick-up and return went very well. In Oia the waiting time until the return trip starts is a bit long, but that is due to the many, many buses in the parking lot. The tour guide was very nice and certainly reported a lot of interesting things. But we had booked with a German tour guide. The explanations were completely in English. Therefore, we could only partially understand a lot. Pity! Hence only three stars.

Too many people. We were expecting a small group tour on a mini bus.

Poor communication with driver on pick up and transfer to another bus mid tour.
