After a morning transfer by bus from Athens to the port, you’ll be welcomed on board a luxurious cruise ship and invited to one of its spacious open decks. From the deck you’ll have a great vantage point for enjoying views of the Greek coast. The first stop is the island of Poros, the smallest of the 3 islands you’ll visit on the tour. It’s separated from the Peloponnese by a narrow strait. Have ample time to explore the island and once you’re on board again you’ll be served a delicious lunch as the ship sail towards Hydra. Take in the stunning views as you enter the port of Hydra and see the cove that at one time served as a shelter for pirates. From the open decks, marvel at the dramatic landscapes of this island. There will be time for you to explore the narrow, stone-paved streets of the island on foot, or by saddled donkey, which is the traditional mode of transportation. If you choose to go by foot, you can walk along the old seaside promenade and perhaps stop at some of the small shops. When you return to the ship, the captain heads for Aegina which is the largest of the 3 islands on the tour. Apart from its beautiful harbor, there are numerous interesting sites that you’ll have a chance to discover on your own. Alternatively, you can join an excursion to the Temple of Aphaia at an additional cost. Return to your cruise-boat and enjoy your one-hour sail back to the port. Disembark and finish your trip (if option selected) in Athens.

The excursion begins at Marina Zeas where guests are expected to come on board at 8:45 AM. The first stop of the cruise is the island of Agistri, surrounded by vibrant blue waters and clothed in pine trees. Make a final journey around 3:00 PM towards the beautiful island of Aegina. Here, enjoy the crystal-clear water and sandy beaches of the island, while exploring the breath-taking waterfront and traditional Greek cuisine. At approximately 4:45 PM you will sail back to the port of Marina Zeas while enjoying the ambiance of select and chill music, delicious Mediterranean fruits, coffee, and drinks. Spend a full day on this private tour exploring the natural and man-made wonders surrounding the city of Athens. After pickup from your accommodations in Athens, drive along the mainland cost to Peloponnese, where you’ll have your first short stop at the Corinth Canal, which connects the Gulf of Corinth to the Saronic Gulf in the Aegean Sea. Your second visit will be to the Ancient Market and the Statue of Apostle Paul, walking along the same paths the Apostle walked and preached hundreds of years earlier. Then, visit the commercial town of Corinth and the Apostle Paul Metropolitan Church, founded by the Apostle himself around 51-52 AD.   Afterwards, you’ll reach Diakofto to take the Cog Railway that goes through Vouraikos Canyon, one of the most beautiful natural sights and most spectacular railway rides in Greece. See the “hanging bridge” the “waterfalls”, and unique stalactite formations as you get the feeling of being in a floating corridor. Head through an artificial tunnel that leads you directly to the second floor for some awe-inspiring sights.   Finally, stop for a meal in the picturesque village of Kalavrita before heading back to Athens.

10. From Athens: Full Day Private Sailing Trip to Aegina Island

You will meet the tour crew at the designated meeting point at about 8:30am (usually Alimos marina), and after a short safety briefing upon boarding you will set sail to Aegina Island, famous for its pistachios. On the way there, you'll make a stop to enjoy swimming & snorkeling in the turquoise crystal clear waters. Thecrew will prepare delicious local delicacies, while you swim.  Early in the afternoon, you will reach the port of Aegina, where you will be free to visit Aegina town center. Walk through its alleys with their charming shops, or even walk alongside the picturesque port, admire the beautiful neoclassical buildings and enjoy a cup of iced coffee. If you are a history aficionado, it is also recommended that you visit the Temple of Apollo at the archaeological site of Kolona, which is walking distance from the port. Once there, do not miss the chance to visit the Archaeological Museum, the first ever built in Greece (in 1829). Then, return back to the boat and sail back to Athens (approx. 3.5 hours sailing), reaching the port during the evening. Don't forget to buy some fresh fruit and vegetables from the floating groceries (traditional boats in the port selling fruits & vegetables), which you can enjoy on board. And of course, fresh raw plain or roasted local pistachios!

The experience was fantastic. The boat is a beautiful wood sailboat. I drove myself to the pier and they gave me clear instructions. The crew is friendly, attentive, organized and very helpful. The food was delicious. I could not be happier with the accommodations, service, or value. FIVE STARS!

this trip was amazing. The guides were really nice and went above and beyond. It was so relaxing and there was a spot to swim if we wanted. We also got to see jellyfish! The snacks they provided and the wine was amazing. I definitely recommend this tour :)

AMAZING home cooked food, service and such a relaxing day! I Highly recommend this excursion. I was so sad to see it come to an end.
