The tour guide was excellent and a great driver. Not really the tour that was the issue, but what Sayulita has become. Too busy... the road and the town was swarming and the beach has turned into a battle for your money. The beach is covered with beach chairs and you pay 300 to 500 Pesos to sit in a chair on the beach. No room to drop a towel or your backpack and go for a swim. You basically have to pay or too bad. Shopping and tacos are still good, but aggressive douchbags in the square ruin the experience.
