We thoroughly enjoyed our tour to the Grand Canyon. Our driver, Dominick, picked us up at The Little America Hotel in Flagstaff. There were 9 of us so we had the entire van to ourselves, which was nice. Dominick was very friendly, very knowledgeable, answered any questions, took many pictures for us (and did a fabulous job at that) and was just did a great job as our tour guide. It was one of the best days we had on our vacay...even though we were learning things, it was pleasant and enjoyable. I would recommend this tour 100% and if you are lucky, you will get Dominick as your tour guide. I want to also add to this that we had been to the Grand Canyon 3 years ago, we drove ourselves and were happy with what we saw. However, this time, with the tour, we saw so much more..places we hadn't even known about.
The tour guide Eddie was prompt, enjoyable, engaging, informative, flexible and a safe driver. Tour vehicle could have been a little more accomatative for holding drinks, food, and supporting electronic devices; but other than that comfortable ride. Time allowed at canyon stops were sufficient for photos and other activities. Stop at Sedona was short but good sample for what to look forward to for future visit.
Enjoyable ride, but not as scenic as I had pictured. Told that no food or beverage was available at this time, but there was a complementary breakfast with a great muffin, string cheese, and yogurt. All the non-alcoholic beverages you wanted. Some useful, fun facts and some entertainment along the route.
Shantelle was an amazing tour guide; she was so knowledgeable and shared so many interesting facts with us that I took 6 pages of notes! Even though the day at the Canyon was FREEZING it was worth it to see the three places/views she took us to. It was a excellent trip, and I would highly recommend.
Our guide Matt was exceptional. He was full of wonderful facts about the canyon, Flagstaff and Oak Canyon. We visited numerous sites at the canyon that Were not over populated. If you go ask for Matt, he is great!
