Great tour with very pleasant guides

Started our tour with the amazing Melissa. She gave us a great tour! Plenty of humor ... felt like a family trip :) Thank you for that Melissa! The afternoon trip started with a 30 min. delay ... which was annoying. José António our guide was very good and we also had a great time with lots of information

The tour overall was great, the tour guides were great, but there were some issues with being informed. First of all I was to be picked up at my hotel at 9:45 am. Around 10am, people that were to also be on the tour showed up at my hotel and told us the bus had broken down and it would be late. They had to take a taxi. I was not informed by the Guide company at all that the bus would be late. Also, I got the full day tour and assumed that the tour would break for lunch when instead I was told that I had an hour and 45 minutes for lunch before my next tour started and then had to walk to my new tour starting point. Finally, I picked the English tour which I got, but there were also Spanish and French speaking people on my tour, so the guide had to talk in Spanish and couldn’t communicate at all with the French until we met up with their tour guide later. It was just very time consuming and I feel stressed out the tour guides too. Organization was definitely lacking.

I really enjoyed this tour and Melissa was great. She really enjoyed giving the tour and explaining all there was to explain. The second tour guide Lola didn’t seem as enthused to give the second part of the tour and that is the reason for the 4 stars, otherwise Melissa alone would have gotten 5 stars.
