A flying tour of the alcazar, cathedral and giralda of Seville. We started in the alcazar and learnt all about the architecture and history behind two of the three buildings. Our guide had a vast amount of knowledge and ensured we all understood what she was trying to convey which I appreciated. They use a microphone and headphones system so you can hear at all times. Unfortunately we only got 10 minutes in the alcazar gardens which is a real shame and at this point our tour became incredibly rushed due to other members in our group failing to return on time after a short break. Following this, we essentially ran over to the cathedral and picked up another 20 or so people along the way. You are given the option to climb the giralda (included in price) and then tour a small amount of the cathedral. I recommend this tour provider since they had a lot of knowledge but wish they kept the tours separate (alcazar and cathedral) since we ran out of time and didn’t get to see a lot.

Our guide Antonio was unique to have conducting our tour has he had a degree in history and provided us with an insightful history lesson in between the sights. His playing of some traditional Andalusian music as we concluded the tour set the scene perfectly and was a very nice touch.

Jozef Miguel Reyes Vasquez was a fantastic guide! Even though it was ridiculously hot, he kept our group very entertained. He was very animated, funny, and provided historical information in a very engaging format. I would recommend him for anyone for an educational and fun tour of the city!
