  • Singapore Chinatown Night Tour: Dinner, Trishaw & Boat Ride

    2. Singapore Chinatown Night Tour: Dinner, Trishaw & Boat Ride

At a Chinese Medical Hall, learn how Traditional Chinese Medicine helps to regulate your Yin and Yang. From ancient days till modern times, the Chinese have continue with herbs and practices like acupuncture, moxibustion, tai chi and tui na to stay healthy. After dinner at a local Chinese restaurant, wander along the narrow lanes of the Night Market and test your bargaining skills against street vendors selling anything from souvenirs to leather goods.  The highlight of the evening is a trishaw ride that takes you through the alleyway...

Overall a very good trip. However the hotel restaurant wasn’t what we expected. It was a Chinatown experience, and that wasn’t it.

Next, head to a coastal-defence gun near a beach, a place where the Japanese possibly massacred thousands of innocent people during the Sook Ching operation. To get to the site, you’ll have to walk in complete darkness. Be sure to keep close, keep your head down, and don’t call anyone by name. Once there, learn how the Japanese tried to suss out the spies and the gruesome stories of how they dealt with them. The last walk will be down one of the world's largest Chinese cemete...

Everything is perfectly organized, from collection to return. Dinner in Chinatown ok tour was a bit short but sufficient. The subsequent rickshaw tour and the river trip on the Singapore River were very beautiful and impressive.

This is the most unique tour I've ever been on, highly recommend! Our guides Stanley and Jasmine were so knowledgeable and fantastic story tellers :)
