Of course in Sintra one must visit Pena & other palaces, and Quinta de Regaleira. But there are so many MORE gems that are hidden as well. This tour is a must to actually learn about traditional life in Portugal (which the normal tourist sites do not show at all). And Filipe was a fantastic tour guide. He is very knowledgeable and very fun. He obviously loves his country as well. If all you want to learn is who built a chair in a palace, this is not the tour for you - stick with the run-of-the-mill palace tours. But if you want to know what life was like in the small village, call Filipe. You won’t be disappointed.

The trip was really amazing, Mario was a great guide, very knowledgeable about the sites we visited on our way, nice and helpful with everything we needed. The ride was cool and adventurous, the hike itself was quite comfortable, not too difficult and the beach at the and was magnificent, definitely the highlight of my trip to Lisbon, highly recommend it!

Very good guide, warm welcome and quality comments

Good half-day in the Sintra Valley, fun trekking and in communion with nature, passing close to the main places of interest in the city and supervised by a very friendly and attentive guide.

Amazing!! The highlight of our Portugal trip. Could not recommend more.
