Enjoy an 8-hour scenic drive along the Amalfi Coast Road, and discover one of the most celebrated routes in Italy. Departing Sorrento, the journey will provide glorious views of the Bay of Naples and Salerno as the road twists and turns towards Positano.
Built on different levels, and resembling a waterfall cascading down the rocks to the sea, Positano is a picture perfect spot for taking postcard style photos. Enjoy 1 hour of free time here.
Continue to Amalfi, where you will have approximately 2 hours to explore the enchanting streets on your own. Visit the magnificent 9th-century Cathedral dominating the main square, and browse the many souvenir shops. Enjoy an authentic Italian coffee in one of the enchanting cafés, before departing for Ravello.
Perched on a hill, high above Amalfi, Ravello is where Wagner wrote part of one of his operas after being inspired by the views. Enjoy one of the best of these views, looking over to Minori, Maiori, and beyond. Go to the main square to see the picturesque 11th-century Cathedral. Then, it’s time for an ice cream, before wandering down the narrow streets to find a little restaurant for lunch. Work off the calories with a stroll around the gardens of Villa Rufolo, enjoying more panoramic views of the Amalfi Coast.
