You’ll begin your guided winery tour at the reception of the Château Haut Breton Larigaudière. Nestled in the prestigious Margaux Appellation and ideally situated on the Road of the Châteaux, you’ll go on to discover the secrets behind the elegance of the special wines crafted here. Your tour will start in front of the winery with a presentation of the property and its history. Next, your expert guide will show you around the fermenting room, explaining the winemaking process as you go, before continuing down to the barrel cellar for an introduction to the art of wine aging.

Learn about the history of winemaking, and taste locally-produced wines. After being welcomed at the reception, your experience begins with a tour of the property and an explanation of its history. Continue to the fermenting room, where your guide will explain the winemaking process, then visit the barrel cellar to talk about wine aging. The tour will be followed by a guided tasting of several wines (depending on the option) from the Margaux appellation.

Your visit begins in front of the winery with a presentation of the property and its history. Then, your guide will lead you towards the fermenting room to explain the winemaking process and he will continue in the barrel cellar to talk about wine aging. Afterward, you will have the chance to taste 3 wines in the barrel from the most representative grapes of Bordeaux: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Petit Verdot. Finally, you will go into the shop to taste 2 finished wines to compare with those tasted previously still in maturation.

Enjoy a wine tasting workshop in a chateau setting in the Margaux wine-growing region. To begin your wine tasting workshop, you’ll be welcomed at the reception of the chateau by your guide, who’ll lead you to where workshop takes place. The fun then begins with the presentation of a set of 6 aromas in small bottles, each to be sampled and remembered. Next, the first wine will be served, with each stage of the wine tasting explained. Your guide will then offer you a second wine very different from the first, explaining what this contrast can tell you about the wines. Following this intensive tasting course, you’ll then be ready for two blind wine tastings. Based on the color, smell, and taste of the wines, you’ll try to determine their vintage and appellation types.
