Get picked up directly from your accommodation and travel to the beautiful Oudhna, and ancient Roman-Berber city. Visit the well preserved archaeological site in the heart of the city, and explore the ruins. Discover the amazing amphitheater, which at one time could seat 20,000 spectators. Next, travel to Testour, a small town nestled in the hills of Medjerda Valley. See the Great Mosque with its unique clock, famous for running counterclockwise. Then, take a break at Verger des Montagnes, a working farm that offers delicious local specialties. Next, climb up the hills for breathtaking views of the beautiful landscape, before heading to the archeological site of Dogga. Here, visit the well-preserved, UNESCO World Heritage Listed Roman ruins. The last stop on your trip is the small hilltop village of Djebba. A big day awaits you. 350 km. Sumptuous Roman sites, very few tourists encountered. Authenticity of Tunisian villages. A guide to the top.Thank you Sara, and an air conditioned car and a very nice driver. Only downside, it is better to be in Tunis and around to do this day. We were at HAMMAMET.
