2. From Vancouver: Malahat SkyWalk & Vancouver Island Day Trip
Explore the highlights of British Columbia on this guided day trip. Head to Vancouver Island from Vancouver on a round-trip ferry ride, then enjoy the best the location has to offer, including the incredible Malahat SkyWalk, a tour of Merridale Cidery and Distillery, and Duncan, the City of Totems.
Start the day with a 90-minute sail aboard BC Ferries while enjoying the views and the wildlife.
Arrive at Vancouver Island and board a deluxe mini-coach that will take you through old-growth forests and spectacular views as you head towards Malahat Skywalk.
Then immerse yourself in nature at Malahat Skywalk as you travel along the 600-meter-long elevated walkway. Follow the walkway to a 10-story spiral tower to take in the 360-degree view of the islands, inlets, fjords, and 2 countries.
After enjoying the Malahat Skywalk, take some free time for lunch (own expense) in Cowichan Bay, a seaside village known for its art and floating houses. After lunch, enjoy a tour and cider tasting at Merridale Cidery and Distillery.
The last stop is Duncan, known as the City of Totems. Choose whether to go on a walking tour with a guide to learn about First Nation totems, or explore on your own. Finally, return to the ferry for the journey home.
