    See the Cathedral of Saint Domnius with its 12th-century bell tower, and visit the impressive Peristyle courtyard of Diocletian's Palace. Admire the statue of Gregory of Nin by the 20th-century sculptor, Ivan Meštrović.

    I believe tours are only as good as the guide. TANJAY, our guide was fantastic! She not only was a wealth of historical knowledge, she was clever, witty and gave many comparisons of Dalmation living and cultural that were so interesting and helpful.     We had a wonderful time with our guide Jakov. You could tell right away that he enjoys his job and is knowledgable in history. His sense of humour was just a great bonus. Learned so much in just 1.5 hours and got to see so many parts of both Split and the palace itself.

    The whole excursion is ok, well organized, guided waited for us at the entrance - that helped a lot. Guide told a lot of history for all interesting places. Keep in mind that you will go up and down so take this into account if you are with trolley) as well things language is English and you are not native speaker that maybe not so interesting for your children
