Full description
Start your tour of Dubrovnik with a visit to the Stradun Promenade for your first impression of one of the Mediterranean’s most beautiful cities and its astonishing stone walls that extend over 1,940 meters (6,500 feet). Admire the monumental fortifications and city gates, before wandering the labyrinthine streets behind the ramparts. Almost entirely pedestrianized, the medieval town is a treasure trove of architectural gems. See columned porticoes and loggias fringing Renaissance squares of marble. Marvel at the 11th-century Town Hall, and go to Sponza Palace, notable for its elaborate stone carvings. Take in views of the Baroque Cathedral, and see the magnificent Treasury. Continue to the fortress-like Dominican Monastery and Baroque Church of St Blaise. Visit the Rector’s Palace of the glorious Republic of Dubrovnik, and marvel at its harmonious blend of Gothic, Renaissance, and Baroque architecture. You will then have 3 hours free for lunch and some shopping. Taste delicious Mediterranean specialities at the taverns of the Old City, ending with a coffee on Stradun, and buy some of the traditional filigree jewellery, or a bronze statuette of St. Blaise to remind you of your day in Dubrovnik, before the return transfer to Split.

Dubrovnik : wonderful

Thank you Mila for your kindness and your good mood. Our transfer from Split to Dubrovnik was so amazing. At our arrival a guide took the group in charge for 1 hour and explained the history of the city : very interesting. The city is very nice but 3h50 inside the city was too short. I really recommend this tour.

Long drive, yet worth it.

Enjoyed the trip to Dubrovnik, Dragen was really nice and helpful. He stopped at few places to rest, take photos and chance to buy things from the cart at the top of the mountain. The man was selling almonds and orange skin coated in sugar - delicious. Even though the drive was long, we got to see some breath taking sceneries. Once we got to Dubrovnik, we met our guide (Eli), she was really polite, smiley and helpful. Didn’t rush us and gave us options. She showed us Games of Throne locations. Downside - there wasn’t enough space to stretch your legs at the back of the van.

Staff were helpful, driver was friendly, tour guide was knowledgeable. Bus trip time flies by with the amazing views. Dubrovnik is very, very busy and it can be a little hard to hear the guide at times. The amount of tourists in Dubrovnik is out of their control though. Remember your passport! You go through Bosnia on the way, the view there is amazing too!
