The wedding scene was filmed at Mondsee Cathedral, a buttery yellow-and-white edifice where you'll stop on the tour. Maria, led by Liesl, walked down the aisle to meet the baron in front of the stairs of the main altar. After dropping you off in Salzburg at the end of the tour you can visit Mirabell Gardens, located just opposite the tour terminal. What people are saying about St Gilgen

The trip was great! We had 30 min delay, though is was forgotten by what came after - The town was beautiful! but the way there and back was the best for me. They thought about everything to make it as full as possible, with 2 different beautiful ways to the town and back. The views were incredible, the bus rides were an attraction one his own. The guide was a wonderful, calming elderly German men, that gave nice facts and stories along the way. A mandatory tour if you near by!

This tour was my favourite part from our trip to Austria. It was very well organised. The places we visited during the tour were phenomenal and unforgettable. Even if you have no idea of the movie, you will still enjoy the beautiful scenery and places visited during this tour. Highly recommend this to everyone visiting Salzburg.

Absolutely loved this tour! We saw a lot in the time allocated. Our guide was great, had a good sense of humour and kept us entertained with lots of interesting information about the film. If you enjoyed the movie, put this on your to-do list when you visit Salzburg.

Glad to take this tour to Hallstatt. Less than 1.5hr one way is quite tolerable.

Bridget was a great tour guide! Loved our tour. Very informative and beautiful!
