Vatican City: Basilica, Dome Climb & Optional Crypts Tour
- Duration options: 45 minutes - 2.5 hours
Meet your art historian guide in St. Peter's Square and stroll across the piazza into Vatican City. In the Basilica, take the elevator part of the way up and then climb the remaining 171 steps. The place is - of course - absolutely astonishing. Our guide Maria was really passionate and very nice. With our ticket, we firstly came in the Vatican, quickly into the Basilica. We took the elevator to the dome, and then climbed 320 steps. If you can do it : trust me, it worth it. Then we went down directly into the Basilica, the biggest church in the world!
Selenia was an amazing guide and walked us through all the important points! She managed not to bore us with unnecessary numbers and made the tour really interesting!
