The young instructor assigned to us was clearly new and finished our briefing in 5mins. However, for a later batch, a senior guy gave detailed and correct instructions. But, there's nothing to worry, the learning curve isn't too steep. We initially went round in circles for first few minutes. But, soon figured out ourselves how to go forward and steer. Excellent guidance on route selection and help in getting in and out of the kayak by the other staff members. Remember to carry water to drink on the kayak, you will get thirsty. 2 hours is more than adequate to do a full circuit of both Långholmen and the smaller Reimersholme islands. The route is quite beautiful especially in the smaller canal sections. A waterproof action camera or case for your smartphone is highly recommended for taking pictures along the way. If the weather's good, there will be lot of private boats creating waves. Be wary of those! We almost got turned over by a big one! Happy Kayaking!
Best Amphibus tour ever ... Johnny the captain and Ebba the guide were great, telling us about the city, famous people, landmarks as well as keeping things light and funny. Would strongly recommend booking this activity. Tip: Book a lot in advance using a site like GYG as it sells out and we saw like 50 people waiting at the stop trying to buy tickets and were disappointed... and this was low season October. Booking experience using this site was great, easy to book, safe payment, maybe too many emails and instructions + reminders about activity but overall great experience.
We had so much fun! It was amazing. I loved the beautiful sights, the music, the sarcastic jokes... My friends and I were constantly laughing. We loved this tour and we definitely want to something like this again! :) Also, I loved our captain Johny and I forgot the name of our tourguide but he was sweet and handsome :)
Had a great time, Ebba was a fantastic tour guide, you get to see a lot of Stockholm centre, learn lots of interesting facts and the amphibious bus is very fun.
Entertaining and fun. Unique way to see the city! Only complaint is I wish it was a little more informative about the city/history.
