Full description

Enjoy a sunset trip into the wilds of Sweden in search of moose, deer, wild boar, and hare. Spot wildlife with your guide in meadows and woodlands outside of Stockholm. Your guide welcomes you on board our small and comfortable minivan before heading out of the city and into one of Stockholm’s most wildlife-rich areas. Once out in nature and before starting the safari, get to know your safari companions.

Enjoy a traditional Swedish midsummer meal at an outdoor camp. Your knowledgeable guide takes this time to explain more about the habitat surrounding you and the animals that inhabit it. You then navigate through rural landscapes characterized by traditional red cottages, classic manor houses, majestic forests and historical rune stones from the Viking age, searching for wildlife. Once the sun has set, you return to the city.

Pleasant afternoon and evening! Cheerful travel guide who explained the area and sights. Tasty picnic with all kinds of Swedish dishes (we would not have tasted them otherwise). Good binoculars with which mainly deer were spotted and unfortunately no moose. What you see in the beautiful nature of animals is a bit of luck. Comfortable car with a cozy travel group of 6 people in total from Malta, Belgium and we from the Netherlands.

Highly Recommended. We had a great evening with our guide, who was full of energy and did everything to make it a great experience for us (unfortunately I don't remember his name). He stopped at every animal. If possible, went closer and saw the animals better. The Midsummer meal was also absolutely delicious, I still have the taste in my mouth after a week, I'm usually not that keen to experiment with unfamiliar food, but it was really good. Animals seen: Many deer and birds of prey, 1 moose (the highlight, of course), 1 hare and 1 small frog. We were 8 people with the guide, we got along great and it was a lot of fun together.

That was a fantastic experience! Ben, our guide, made his best for our group to get along. And he succeeded! We saw three or four dears. Not a moose, unfortunately, but we were given a wonderful tip where we may spot one. It’s a lovely experience. And if you get Ben for your guide, consider yourself a lucky person!
