Great trip with great value!

Renting a car to board the ferry would have cost $85 one way, and that's not including the cost of the tickets to the Buchart Gardens themselves. Plenty of time to explore both the gardens and downtown Victoria. Wish the roses were in bloom in the Rose Garden, but I suppose that can't be helped (visited early October if that matters). Food is available for purchase on the ferry, buffet is $26 if the ship offers it. Otherwise, tea/coffee and pastries/sandwiches are available. If you don't mind the wind, you can go to the bow in the viewing area of the deck. Dusk time can make for good pictures. I didn't even need the mobile ticket, as the driver had a clipboard with my name for boarding. I did call in to confirm my pickup time at my hotel, and everything was pretty smooth.

While it was a long day it was most enjoyable. There was plenty of information provided by our driver/guide that made it interesting. The ferry trip was fascinating and lots to see while onboard. Victoria was beautiful to see and the trip gave me a general look at the destination. We had a bit under 2 hours there, wish it was longer. It’s a long day to only get a short time there. But considering the ferry lineup and the time spent on the ferry it’s just how it is. Later in the day we did the Butchart Gardens which was a wonderful experience. Definitely a must see. I would have loved more time there too. We had 2 hours which gives you time to wander around.

I have to confess, I was a little resistant to book this tour as I usually manage trips on my own and thought it was pricey, but due to the logistics of getting to Victoria I decided to give it a try. I didn't have much interest in going to The Butchart Gardens, but I loved it so much that I'm happy it was on the itinerary. Our tour guide, Alessio, was amazing and made the whole difference. He's not only knowledgeable, but funny and super nice. Totally worth the money and highly recommend!

Even though the ferries closed our day because of high winds you offered refund or rescheduling. We chose rescheduling the next day. Your driver also drove us around Vancouver to see a few sites and dropped us off at our request. Both drivers were friendly and informative. Good work under bad circumstances. A+

Guide was friendly, making the long ride lively & interesting. Shared plenty of information pertaining to Victoria, Vancouver & best time to visit the Garden. Thanks very much.
