Great for a day trip from Cape Town - a 2 hour drive out to a very well run, small (in comparison to other parks) Game Park. This is perfect for anyone new to Safaris, for anyone short on time, for families, couples and friends. It was our first time to South Africa so we enjoyed this thoroughly, got some great photos and felt like the 2 hour trip around the park was well worth the price and the time.

The welcome area with snacks & beverages was okay. It would've been better if the woman sitting in the room was friendlier or in the least bit helpful. Also, we decided to go in the line we saw forming outside and others followed us. We were waiting for someone to let us know where we were heading next. Anyway, they rest of the experience was wonderful. Our guide was knowledgeable & entertaining. We got to see everything but the leopard (that one was a long shot anyway). We really enjoyed the lions and how close they were to us. The break area was nice but the restroom area was awful.

The safari ranger was knowledgeable and likable, but I wish there were more animals and that we were able to get closer. It wasn't really that much more fascinating than the zoo. Scenery, however, was of course beautiful. I got some incredible shots.
