You’ll meet the guide at the Apollo Temple at 05:00 PM to begin your 1.5-hour walking tour, just as the day is cooling down. Admire the majesty of the Apollo Temple before heading down Via Cavour, one of the most colorful streets in Ortigia, and where locals like to spend their evenings. See the Archimede Fountain on the way to the city’s Jewish district that was founded in the 3rd century BC. When you reach Duomo Square, you’ll be at the heart of Ortigia. This is one of the most beautiful squares in Italy, and home to the stunning Duomo and the Church of St. Lucy. The last stop on the tour is the Aretusa Fountain, next to the sea, and the perfect place to continue your evening out.

If you want enlightening holiday, we highly recomend this tour

We had a most wonderfull guiding tour in Ortigia with Valery as our exellent guide. She told alive about the history of Ortigia and answered all our questions (and that was many - we are journalists). We highly recomend this tour (and Valery) to everyone that wants a perfect and enlightening holiday in the most charming place throughout the Mediterranean! Anne-May, Thor-Egil and Lawrence

Unser Guide Lisa war top,

Unser Guide Lisa hat uns sehr viel und sehr leidenschaftlich von der Vergangenheit von Syrakus erzählt. Die wichtigsten Plätze und Kirchen haben wir gesehen und die Kathedrale sogar von innen besucht. 2 Wehrmutstropfen gab es allerdings: obwohl wir die Tour auf deutsch gebucht hatten, war sie komplett auf englisch und sie hat nur 90 Minuten gedauert anstatt 120 Minuten. ( das jüdische Viertel ( wie in der Beschreibung geschrieben) haben wir nicht besucht. Deshalb nur 4 Sterne !
