After meeting your local guide and driver, head about 30 minutes out of Sapa Town to visit the Silver Waterfall, Love Waterfall and Tram Ton Pass. Explore the area before leaving for the traditional village of Ban Khoan. From there, begin your trek. The trek, about 4 hours and 15 kilometers (9.3 miles), takes you along mountain trails and through remote tribal villages. Enjoy amazing views of the surrounding rice paddies, and take plenty of photos as you learn about the unique cultures of the Hmong and Red Dzao people. Take a break for a picnic lunch before continuing the trek to the home of the Red Dzao tribe in Ta Phin Village. In the afternoon, meet your driver to begin the 30-minute transfer back to Sapa.

Your tour begins early with your guide picking you up at 9:00AM from your hotel in Sapa. Heading north, you’re bound for the terraced rice fields carved directly into the lush mountains. If you’re interested, you can even try your hand at harvesting some rice with a group of local farmers to get a real taste of local life. After dining on Hmong specialties at a popular local restaurant, you’ll head to the Ta Phin Valley to explore a village inhabited by the Red Dao people, who are famous for their intricate and handcrafted traditional clothing. You’ll spend the night with a local family, this priceless experience granting an unfiltered view into a rich and storied culture. After breakfast the next morning, you’re off for another day of cultural immersion and sublime vistas. You’ll walk to Trung Chai village, renowned for its panoramic views, before stopping for a picnic lunch. Walking through more picturesque rice fields, you’ll stop in Chu Lin village to discover the life and customs of a small Hmong tribe. After pausing to take in more of the serene views, you’ll head back to Sapa filled with reverence and respect for the diverse cultures of this freshly discovered region.

Personally I highly recommend this tour, the guide asked us which distance we prefer (8 or 10km) explained and showed us a lot of interesting things that allowed us to understand more what we have in front of us. She was really nice with us and really made this experience fantastic. You will enjoy every single moment of this tour.

We had some bad luck with the weather, was raining the whole time but still enjoyed our time during the trekking and sights. Would definitely recommend. Our tour guide Chai, very friendly and nice. Her english is good and even during the rain was in good spirits!

We had a great guide Lan that was very knowledgable and told many stories and facts about the area. The tour was at a great pace and we appreciated the choices to customize our experiences. Lunch was wonderful spread by a local. Overall we enjoy the trek very much
