This tour was great! Our guide, Florence, spoke English, French and Italian brilliantly and knew a lot about Etna, so we learned a lot. The river visit was an unexpected highlight and a fantastic inclusion. At Etna, there will be offers of the cable car, electric bike or jeeps to take you further up (for an extra price of at least €68). However, if you don’t choose this, your guide will give you a walking tour around the craters and the site, which we loved. I really recommend this day trip, we loved it and learned a lot.

Our tour guide Giuseppe was great! He picked us up at the hotel and we got a private tour because we were the only ones that booked the tour that day. We went to the top of the Etna and got a tour by a vulcanologist. That was really cool! The only minor thing was that the price of going to the top was not included in the tour price. Our next stops were a lava cave and a little farm where we could taste different kinds of honey, olive oil, and wine. Both were really nice. Our last stop was the Alcantara river. This was amazing to see. We recommend wearing water shoes. Our guide Giuseppe told us a lot of interesting things during the ride.

Es war ein wunderschöner Tagesausflug. Und unser Guide hat sehr viel dazu beigetragen. Er hat so schön erzählt. Es hat richtig Spaß gemacht ihm zuzuhören. Von der Natur und Landschaft waren wir einfach nur verzaubert. Der Besuch auf der kleinen Farm hat uns auch sehr gut gefallen. Viele Köstlichkeiten haben sich auch direkt als Mitbringsel für die daheimgebliebenen angeboten. Der Besuch auf dem Etna war super schön und auch der Fluss eine Naturschönheit. Muss man gesehen haben. Wir hatten super warmes Wetter. Es bietet sich auf jeden Fall an Badesachen und Wasserschuhe mitzunehmen.
