Start your day with a pickup from Krakow and an escorted ride to Zakopane. On the way, visit the idyllic village of Chochołów, famous for its wooden houses which look almost identical. Visit the Jaszczurówka Chapel, a wooden building located on the outskirts of Zakopane, and see Wielka Krokiew, the biggest and most famous ski jumping hill in Poland. The final stop on your tour is the village of Chochołów. Admire the unusual architectural style of the famous wooden houses and see the Bacówkach, the traditional houses where Oscypek or smoked cheese is produced. Learn how this local specialty is made and sample various types to discover the different flavors created by the level of smoking.

Zakopane is the winter capital of Poland, thanks to its splendid natural scenery, its pistes and hiking trails, and a rich folk culture. You will begin your exploration of the area by taking the funicular railway to the top of Mount Gubałówka for views over the granite and limestone peaks of the Tatra Mountains. Having returned to the oldest part of Zakopane, we will visit the charming wooden old parish church and the most unique cemetery in Poland. To complete your experience, you have a chance to visit the enormous regional market and enjoy lunch in a regional restaurant serving local specialities. If you wish to find out more about this unusual region you can visit the Tatra Museum or the village of Chochołów (famous for its 150-year-old wooden log cabins and a serene atmosphere).

Zakopane carries the proud name of the "skiing capital of Poland". It is Poland's most popular holiday resort. During this tour you will be able to see the Chocholow village, which features traditional wooden houses that have been built by the local highlanders years ago. Along your way spot out the beautiful and historically famed wooden chapels. Visit Krupowki, the main street of Zakopane. Meet some locals, see what village life has to offer and shop for some souvenirs. Take a trip up the mountain Gubalowka, ride in a funicular and experience the natural surrounds. From the top of the mountain you will have a beautiful view of the Tatra Mountain range. On this trip you will be able to view the ski jump hill, which is used for the Grant Prix Ski Jump Competition.  This mountainous journey will take 2 hours to drive depending on traffic. Start your trip directly from your accommodation. Then, travel from Krakow to discover the natural beauty of Pieniny National Park, located in the south of Poland, near the Slovak border. Enjoy the tour around the picturesque area of Pieniny surrounded by the mountains and thick forests. Learn more about well-preserved ecosystems composed of rare species of flora and fauna. Check out the greatest tourist attraction the National Park has to offer and go rafting on The Dunajec River Gorge. This activity has been organized since the early 19th century. During the two-and-a-half hours, you will be able to observe impressive limestone rocks and mountain peaks. Being on the small wooden raft do not forget to take great pictures of the river which meanders through the valley. At the end of the rafting reach the charming resort town of Szczawnica, 20 kilometers downstream.  If you select an option of the tour extension, make your way to Białka Tatrzańska, a famous ski resort where the complex of thermal baths is located. Dip into the geothermal water, at a perfect temperature of 34-38 degrees celsius. Reduce stress in many pools, among other the external ones overlooking the Tatra Mountains. Do not skip the sauna zone and strengthen your immunity in the salt grotto and Russian banya. The tour ends with the drop-off at your hotel.

Your adventure starts when the driver picks you up from your accommodation in Krakow. In the early morning, you will make your way to Morskie Oko, also known as Eye of the Sea. The lake is located within the Tatra National Park that lies in southern Poland and is the largest of its kind in the Tatra Mountains. Once arrived you can enjoy the picturesque panorama while hiking along a 9-kilometer route towards the lake.  Morskie Oko is the most famous lake in Poland and many people say it is the most beautiful one. The lake is embedded in the High Tatras at 1395 meters above sea level and it is surrounded by high mountain peaks reaching over 2000 meters which creates a breathtaking panorama.  After the tour, the driver will drop you off at your accommodation in Krakow.
