My partner and I joined the tour at Te anau.Everything on time and very informative staff at the meeting point. Would not recommend self driving. We enjoyed the glass roof viewing of the coach, informative commentary and all the stops for the best viewing. Great value definitely a bucket list must do. Well done Real Journeys.T

We greatly appreciated the coach tour from Te Anau to Milford. This was the highlight of the tour whereas we had anticipated that the cruise in Milford Sound would have been the higher point. Brian, the coach driver and guide was exceptional in giving informative and lively guidance covering the environmental history and geomorphological information. Nothing short of impressive. As well, critical information on safety was clearly delivered. He was personable and articulated clearly. The coach was also of a high order - comfortable seating angled for optimal viewing and with clear roof for maximum appreciation of the forest canopy and the high and precipitate rock walls immediately proximate to the road.

Currently, the only way to get to Milford Sound is by tour bus. So we booked in New Zealand. The tour is quite good, and the boat tour with the largest ship was quite regular. The ship could go a little further out to almost the sea than the smaller ones. We were lucky too - nice weather on Milford Sound. Still, the journey is quite expensive. On the way back, the bus from Milford Sound to Te Anau was unfortunately completely heated without giving a toilet break.
