Following the Footsteps of César Manrique: Four Art Centers

3. Following the Footsteps of César Manrique: Four Art Centers

César, a multidisciplinary artist, painter, sculptor, conservator of monuments and tourist resorts, designer of landscapes and gardens, and recognized ecologist, created from natural volcanic accidents a tendency that impacted the world. He managed to unite Art, Urbanism and Tourism in a single concept, under a philosophy and model of urban intervention based on sustainability and respect for the natural values of the territory, into what is now a world reference. The Island would be different without the Monument to the Peasant, Los Jameos del Agua, Mirador del Río, Cactus Garden or the Cave of the Greens. It would certainly be less attractive and with much less personality. Not visiting these Centers and works of art, being able to interpret them, is like not even having travelled here. This tour offers you the opportunity to discover the North of Lanzarote having a panoramic of Haría, Riscos de Famara and Volcán de la Corona. You will have the privilege to visit the art centers of Cesar Manrique such as Monument to the Peasant, Cactus Garden, Mirador del Río and Fundación César Manrique. Choose if you wish to visit Jameos del Agua or Cueva de los Verdes, two marvelous art centers which are a must in your visit to Lanzarote.

What people are saying about Teguise

I took this cruise, I really liked that the transportation by bus was included as I don't have a car rented. The ride was very enjoyable, the views from the ship were breathtaking, in the village of La Graciosa we had some free time to roam around, then boarder the ship again and coasted along the island until we anchored at a really gorgeous beach. You can try the kayaking only if you go to the beach (before lunch time) or you could stay at the boat. There were all kind of different drinks included, the lunch was tasty and the leftovers were fed to seagulls and fish which was really fun. On the way back they blasted music and we partied all the way back to port! It was very enjoyable <3

I really enjoyed the day, well worth the money! The boat trip was lovely. The guides were fun . The scenery was great. There was a stop in a local Village, beside a volcano, and at a beach. We had time to swim and kayak. There was plenty of sangria/beer/soft drinks included . There was music on the boat and even some dancing on deck on the way back.

Such a wonderful day Due to a windy and cloudy day our expectations were no good. But at the end everything was perfect . The catamaran was comfortable and spacious, the staff was nice and friendly and the paella was epic. The way back we had fun dancing and drinking all together High recommended

If there was an option 6 stars I would give it. Everything was perfect, food and drinks were amazing, the boat was great, the staff was friendly and made sure all of the passengers were having good time. I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants to have great time and relax.

Well Organized, good Paella and fantastic overall experience!
