Tenerife is one of the most recognized destinations in the world for stargazing and home to a famous observatory located at the summit of the world’s third-tallest volcano. Begin your 9-hour experience taking in panoramic views of Tenerife and absorb the fragrance of the pine forest in Teide National Park. Break through the clouds at 7,000 feet and marvel at the astonishing views of the Atlantic Ocean and the islands of the archipelago. Watch the sun melt into soft pinks, reds, and purples and celebrate the sunset with a glass of chilled sparkling cava. As darkness blankets the landscape you’ll be taken on a tour of the stars by one of the few professional star guides in the world. The excursion is very well organized. In addition, the guide, Pepe, is a very prepared and very entertaining guide. He provided us with a lot of interesting information. As points to improve, dinner does not match the price paid for it € 15, it could cost € 10). And the time at the stop where there is a group of rocks could be extended a little, since there is no time to go up and see the part below: only one of the two things. In general, the experience is highly recommended anyway, seeing the sunset on Mount Teide is a great experience, and seeing the stars is an unforgettable plus.

The trip is well organized. Regular but not annoying stops. Great tour guide and a great bus driver. The food in the evening was anything but tasty and far too expensive. I'd rather take a sandwich with me. The star gazing was great, it would have been nice if you could have enjoyed the moment in silence for another 20 minutes without comments. But it was my second time, so I definitely recommend it.

Teide National Park is beautiful and the volcano impressive. The sunset overlooking Teide and the coast was amazing as was the star gazing. Fernando was a great guide, very knowledgable and friendly. However the process of picking up passengers was long and exhausting and the meal and wine weren't particularly good, but these negatives were eclipsed by the rest of the trip.
