Full description

Get stunning views of Masca Canyon on a panoramic hike in the mountains of Teno Rural Park. Ascend to an altitude of 300 meters above the town of Santiago del Teide in the hills of Puerto de Erjos. Hike on a forest trail with panoramic views to Masca and the ridges of Teno mountains between the peaks of Gala in the Teno Mountains. Hike up to the small peak of Gala for magnificent views over the entire mountain range, and see as far as La Gomera and La Palma in good weather. Descend back down the mountain along an old goat track to arrive in the beautiful village of Masca. Learn about the local flora along the way and get explanations about what you see from your guide. Finally, transfer from Masca village back to Santiago del Teide. This hiking tour ends in the village of Masca and is not the hike into the Masca canyon.

This was the highlight of our trip to Tenerife. it's a full day excursion where you'll be picked up around 9am and then get dropped of around 6pm. Our guide was brilliant and the hike around Masca was stunning, the trails are easy to hike even for beginners. We also got super lucky and saw a family of dolphins whilst out on our boat ride. I would defs recommend!

Perfect day with perfect guide

Very good medium level hiking path, very interesting information from guide about surroundings and nature, inspite not so good weather there was organized nice picknig in "forest wood". Perefct organization of whole day, nice trip to Los Gigantes and swiming in masca beach. Afterwards tasty Sangria glass from boat stuff. Liked this day very much.

Perfect hike

I loved the tour. You see Tenerife with completely different eyes. If you are not a hiking professional, I can only recommend such a guided tour to everyone. Our guide also told a lot of information about flora and fauna and about the country and its people. That rounded off the hike.
