Our guide Javier, was just excellent. He spoke English and interpreted and explained whenever necessary. He adjusted the pace for two senior seniors. Luckily, it was just the two of us on the van. We enjoyed seeing the country side on the the way to the different stops. The most impressive was the weaving demonstration. We stopped in a local cantina for a delicious lunch. We would highly recommend this tour, and thanks again to Javier.

The lengthy, in depth explanation of their craft by both the wood carver and the weaver in their workshop/showroom was excellent, fascinating, and enlightening. The choice of venues were outstanding, not just some hole in the wall. Bring lots of cash, the results of their labors are expensive, but worth it for the quality. Sadly, we only saw a showroom of the black pottery. No artisan working. Our driver offered a minimal explanation. Had we not read beforehand, we would not have appreciated the uniqueness of the art form. Pottery prices were reasonable, but many forms may have been from molds, not individually hand made as we had witnessed elsewhere. We were told the weather was too cold for the clay to remain intact when removed from the fire, so no potter was working. Our driver was not readily forthcoming with information as we drove, but did respond to questioning. On another tour, we had been "spoiled" by having an historian as a guide, not just as a driver.

I didn’t like that all of a sudden the time got changed from 10am till 9am. I was also vey disappointed that we never went to Teotitlan, but only to a commercial shop before we reached the town. The app I was encouraged to get, works only on newer phones and the email on your site that I tried to send to respond could not be send?
