The tour was excellent. George, our driver, picked us up at the agreed upon time. The van was comfortable and clean. Hannah, our guide, was personable, knowledgeable and easy going. The sites we visited are, of course, somber; but the experience was very informative. Highly recommend this tour and this company.

    2. Prague: Tour of Terezin Concentration Camp

Terezin was originally a military fortress built in the 18th century by Emperor Josef II, but it is more closely tied to World War II. The walled garrison town of Terezin (the Large Fortress) served as a holding camp for Jews from all over Europe and was exploited for Nazi propaganda purposes during a Red Cross visit in 1944. Our tour guide had a really excellent knowledge regarding history of the country and the place (Terezín). Organization was perfect. As we only had the half-day tour, we could choose ourselves between several options. She was very well informed about the museum’s exhibition.

This is a trip you cannot miss. The monument are very impressive and the guide did an excellent job. The trip was very informative. The Terèzin guide gave an insightful view of the horrible conditions in the camp.

Moving experience with a historic perspective. Our guide was great, knew a lot and could enlighten us on many questions.

A sober & thought provoking tour but I wouldn’t have missed it as I learned so much about the history of this place.
