The Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island were in my top 2 in NYC

The Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island were in my top 2 attractions in NYC (among Chicago Musical at Broadway). Otherwise I didn’t like my trip to NYC. It’s far too expensive what it offers. The people are very rude and egoistic. The city is very cold on an emotional level. The infrastructure is in a catastrophical state (subway, streets, etc.). There are homeless everywhere and the city is very loud and dirty. I am glad I could leave after 8 days of travel - because over long NYC would drive me completely nuts. I would not recommend a travel to NYC to friends. Nonetheless they would like to see a musical on Broadway or the Statue of Liberty . All the rest of NYC is exchangeable. You can find high buildings and a nice City Skyline in Shanghai, London, etc. as well. For this you do not need to go to New York. Furthermore the people in NYC are completely biased - they think their city is the greatest in the universe. Which it is NOT! Rome, Paris, etc. are far greater.

Kept getting asked to see mobile pass at each separate exhibit & told I should go back to front of park/garden to get a printed ticket. Some exhibits didn’t want to let us in without going to the front of the garden to verify the mobile ticket. There was no way we were doing that, so they let us in. Why use mobile tickets if they want printed ones?

Wonderful experience. It had been so long since I was last there, I forgot how beautiful the Garden can be. Scenic and tranquil...yes, even with NYC crowds! Go get your steps in and enjoy a beautiful walk in the Bronx!

It was a bit chilly and windy on Oct 18. I recommend a visit in warmer weather. The rain forest inside the conservatory was wonderful, but we were disappointed that the side wing was closed off when we were there.

Our guide Lee Ann was fabulous. Very knowledgeable, entertaining, and delightful, adn organized. Our 11 and 13 year old grandchildren very much benefited from this tour and had a great time.
