Due to the weather (too much wind) the felucca ride was not possible. As an alternative, we were offered a motor boat trip on a tour boat. We had the big boat for the two of us and our guide and boatman alone. Our guide Ahmed explained the surrounding buildings and a few historical facts about Cairo and the importance of the Nile. We weren't on the water for an hour because we were faster thanks to the motor. Even if the sailboat ride was not possible, the activity was very worthwhile. Seeing Cairo from the longest river in the world is another experience.

It was a loooooo g day but very worth it. My driver was nice and stopped for breaks so I could get food and use the bathroom. My tour guide was amazing (Rania). She was so sweet, knowledgeable, and flexible. She let me decide what we did next and even let me add on an activity. She was patient and kind. I really enjoyed my time with her in the city.

We have booked the ride at 5 PM with EMO tours. They picked us up at our hotel, so we did't have to drive through crazy Cairo streets. The ride took 1 hour, we cruised close to city center, watched lots of luxury Cairo hotels on the right bank, Cairo Tower on Zamalek and so on. Transfer back to hotel was also included.

Esraa was amazing and so knowledgeable. Thoroughly enjoyed myself and would highly recommend this excursion.

Helpful guide,he anawered with joy all our questions. Great time
