After visiting the royal apartments inside the palace, your guide will lead you through the spectacular gardens, once the setting of balls, parties and elaborate firework displays. On fountain show days you will see the amazing waterworks, still running today as they did in the times of kings and queens. After your tour, dine like a king at the sumptuous new restaurant Ore, recently opened in the spectacular 18th century salons at the Chateau of Versailles by renowned chef Alain Ducasse. Savor a delicious gourmet lunch and discover fine French cuisine. What people are saying about The Palace at Versailles Estate

As a first time visitor, it was such a relief to just have to meet our guide in front of the metro station so she could show us how to navigate the Metro. Once we arrived, it was so nice to be one of the first groups thru the entrance which is so important. Our guide was very kind (endured everyone had a bio break) and knowledgeable as she was able to impart the history of the magnificent palace while avoiding the large crowds. She also timed our visit to water fountain show in the gardens so that we did not miss the wonderful show, while explaining the history of them. As an added bonus, we choose the add-on lunch which was Michelin Star worthy - another definite must! A definite 5 star tour!!

Our half day tour with the gourmet lunch was fantastic. The organization for meeting, traveling to/from Versailles and our tour was great! Sylvia was a wonderfully delightful tour guide! Definitely recommend!
