A long bus trip (around 3h each way), but the views and charm of the monasteries are worth it, Meteora itself is beautifull and definetly worth the daytrip. Drink a lot of water and bring confortable shoes. The restaurant for lunch is an opportunity to sample traditional dishes, which I found of ok quality. Overall worth the price, better with friends or something to entertain yourself during the travel time.

Good planning with the monasteries. we had enough time. i do not really recommend the restaurant where we stopped for lunch. Food was good but the vibes were not... it felt they just want the money and we felt we should go as soon as our plate was empty, or even before.... but it is nothing to do with the tour it was good

I could see two monasteries, but I couldn't choose which one to go to. Meals after the tour are also designated in one place. The dress code is strict, there is a dress check on the bus, and you can rent a scarf. It was a pretty hot day, but the air conditioner on the return bus broke and I spent a lot of time in the sauna. I changed the bus, but the air conditioner didn't work well there, and it was a pity that it was quite hot.
