We went on New Year’s Eve. Tivoli gardens lights and Christmassy vibes were amazing. We arrived early as soon as they opened at 11am and did not have to queue for the rides. It did get busier after 2pm and some ride waits were 40mins. The fireworks at the end of the night were spectacular and this continued as we walked out of the exit where fireworks were lighting up the sky for over 2 hours. We would definitely recommend a visit here.

Extremely enjoyable experience highly recommend. Beautiful setting with lots to see and do. It’s suitable for all ages with a range of rides for small people through to thrill seekers. The staff and Danish people in general are extremely helpful and polite. It did not disappoint.

As a solo traveler I thought I would want to get on most of the rides but, the lines were very long. I ended up not getting on any rides (however, most are excellent for children). I did, enjoy the variety of small shops and food hall options. I was able to walk around and enjoy the beautiful lights at night. I definitely recommend for families or for a couple, for solo travel, shopping is a good alternative.
