Fuji - where are you?

Picked up punctually at the hotel, one other traveller with us in the vehicle. Traffic was awful so a journey that should have taken 2 hours took over 4 but our driver adapted the programme to make sure we still saw everything. Fuji remained hiding in the clouds until we pulled out of the car park from out last stop by the lake and then it gave us a brief view of its summit above the clouds. Our driver thankfully stopped and let us take a few quick photos before it disappeared into the clouds again. Traffic was bad on the way back so a 10 hour day became 12 but our driver did a fantastic job. The tour did say it had an English speaking guide, and our driver did speak more English that I will ever speak Japanese but there was a lot of pointing and smiling involved.

I highly recommended Kenta Gomi for the Tokyo\Mt. Fuji area tours. Very knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. Worth every penny.

Our driver was lovely but was not familiar with the area so was unable to offer any guided information. Marathon closed road at Lake Kawagachi so had to wait for it to re-open. Then cycling event closed access to last stop so tour finished 3 hours earlier than scheduled. Would expect the company to be aware of these events and plan accordingly. Craft Park stop was dreadfully outdated and food choices very limited and of poor quality appeared to be better options further in town. Not value for money.
