The ancient city of Granada is full of unique beauty: come spend a full day in the city and soak up its culture, architecture, and history. In the morning, you will see the stunning Alhambra, a fortress built in the 9th century which later became a royal residence. In the afternoon, you will travel through Albayzin and Sacramonte, two fascinating Muslim neighbourhoods of the city. Albayzin is considered one of the most beautiful districts of Granada, known for its cobblestones and medieval feel. In Sacromonte, you’ll see the traditional cave houses inhabited historically by gypsies, and experience its gorgeous flamenco shows. Walking is by far the best way to explore every nook and cranny of the labyrinthian structure of these neighbourhoods. Let your tour guide surprise you with historical information, legends, and artistic details for an unforgettable day.
Depart Seville and travel to the historic city of Granada. Upon arrival at the palatial complex of the legendary Alhambra complex, enter the former citadel of the Nasrid Dynasty and learn more about Spain during the reign of the Moors. Access amazing areas of the complex, including the beautiful courtyard of the Patio de Los Leones. Admire the architectural details of the Nasrid palace, such as the stucco ceilings and impressive tiles. Stroll around the water features in the gardens, including the pools of the 14th-century Palacio de Generalife. Then, explore the city center of Granada and venture down the narrow streets of the medieval Moorish Albaicin quarter before the return trip to Seville.
It was a long day (13 hrs), spent 5 1/2 hrs driving to Granada and back. The mini van was pretty tight with 8 passengers. Overall, the trip was well worth spending the whole day and the evening. The guided tour was excellent and the guide knew her stuff about the Alhambra and the surrounding sites. I wished we could have started an hour earlier than 9 o’clock start.

Everything has been super great. Good explanations and it shows that he knows what he is talking about. He knows the site and all the surroundings well. He is nice, formal and very entertaining. I give it an 11 out of 10 because there is nothing I did not like about SANTI.
Peter was great at giving us a history lesson and geography knowledge on the way there, hakim? Was an excellent guide once we got there. Pleasant bus, nice small group. No problems understanding anyone. Wish I had another hour in Grenada.
