Excavated between 1924 and 1936, its restoration is one of the country's remarkable achievements in historic preservation. I did this tour the night of my first full day and i could not recommend it more. it was such a great way to see so many of the sites I wanted to see and also helped me decide what I wanted to revisit later in my trip. The guide was so nice and very knowledgeable I will definitely be looking for other tours like this in the future and again would recommend it anyone spending any amount of time in rome. 10/10
