Full description

Go in search of the Northern Lights on a guided excursion from Tromsø. Explore the arctic wilderness, learn about local stories, and feast on hearty traditional Norweigian cuisine throughout the evening.

Meet your guide and listen as they provide information about the weather, the lights' activity, and your chances of seeing the lights on that particular evening.

Next, visit a location most suited to the evening's conditions, sometimes traveling deep into neighboring Finland. Upon arrival, your guide will set up a bonfire and help set up your camera to best capture the Northern lights.

Enjoy hot chocolate and snacks. Later, enjoy a picnic-style barbecue and enjoy traditional Norwegian fiskekake (fish burgers) or sausages with tortilla bread.

Get a professional photo of the Northern Lights. Your guides will explain the phenomenon of the Northern Lights and the traditions, beliefs, and superstitions connected to them.

Following your tour, your experience concludes as your guide drops you off at your accommodation close to the city center of Tromsø.

We saw some northern lights, so this rating is not about the lights. The guide and the second driver was nice, but a bit confused about the best viewpoints. The meal was nothing norwegian speciality, some regular food, but it was at hand as promissed. Thanks for the tour, maybe we can see each other next time.

Racing through the night in search of the lights is a magical experience. The organisation was excellent. On the night we went the lights were low power but we could see them and the aura of the moon was stunning. Apart from the lights being in the wilderness is also a magical experience. Our guide was very knowledgeable and professional. An excellent tour. I would recommend this tour to everybody
