Full description

Northern Norway has a unique nature, which changes with varying colors and light of the four seasons. This tour takes you right in the middle of these amazing landscapes.

The tour starts from Tromso city center, from where you will head to the coast on the west side of Tromso. With a small group size, 8 people maximum, you will have an intimate and cozy experience. Be driven to the countryside of Tromso. Depending on the snow conditions and weather, the walk will be done either with or without snowshoes.

In the autumn months of October and November, you'll get to enjoy the colorful countryside before it is covered with a thick layer of snow. In the winter, the landscape will be white with snow to play in. After the drive, stretch your legs on a nice walk up a small mountain. The Arctic nature offers you an unforgettable experience. During the walk you can view wildlife and when you reach the summit you will be provided with lunch.

Your guide will take photos on the tour and share them with you after the trip, free of charge. Just enjoy the hike.

A great experience :) I was very lucky with the weather; it had snowed heavily the day before and the sun was shining that day. You will be picked up by a minibus in Tromsø and with a short photo stop at a fjord you will go to the starting point of the tour. Our tour guide Peter told a lot about the area and patiently answered all questions. The hike went up a small mountain (approx. 130m difference in altitude) with a fantastic view of the mountains and two fjords. Peter also took great photos of each participant there; You can't do that with a selfie... At the top there was a sandwich and a real hot chocolate (no instant powder stuff...) The time just flew by. The pure hike took about two hours there and back; The group was not very big (eight people from all over the world) and very nice. As I said, a great experience, which I would repeat at any time.

The hike was great. Just an hour up and an hour down in snowshoes and just be with yourself. The guide didn't tell that much, which was perfectly okay and pleasant. Upstairs there was cocoa, biscuits and flatbread. However, I would not have managed more than an hour each way, as it was very steep. The feeling afterwards is great. :) I can only recommend.
