Full description
Depart the city at 9:00 AM and board a comfortable catamaran to explore the breathtaking fjords around Tromsø. Marvel at the scenery while your experienced sailing crew navigates where Viking longships once sailed. Don't forget to keep an eye out for the wildlife. The fjords are alive with animal activity in the wintertime with seabirds, eagles, seals, and massive fish gathering to feed and survive the challenging climate. Learn about marine life, try to catch your own fish, and when you've built up an appetite the skipper will prepare a delicious soup from the catch of the day (vegetarian options are also available). After an unforgettable experience sailing in the Arctic, return to central Tromsø around 2:00 PM.

We had such fun on the catamaran, the skipper was very knowledgeable and took us around to many areas to find the best fishing spots. we were taught and then given the opportunity to catch Atlantic cod which was used in the fish soup for lunch. we had such fun and learnt so much about the area and wildlife!

Excellent!

I recommend this excursion! Pleasant and very friendly, a warm welcome and very good explanations. I also liked the fishing (I caught a fish that we tasted right after) and the fantastic vision of the Fjords, also pass to observe the eagles and whales (it was shy, we saw the fins). Thanks to the team for those really great ones!

It was a lovely ride in the arctic. The gear provided kept us warm. We caught several fish and were able to enjoy a fish soup lunch on the boat.
