This tour was with our guide Jonas at 10AM. Our family aged from from 9 years to 59 years were met by him and taken around some local taco places, plus juices/smoothies, tamale, mole and desert ice cream. The tour went around places without tourists but felt very safe. Jonas was brilliant with my 9 yr old son and helped with the group of six crossing the road etc. He was very knowledgeable about the area. He also took some very high quality pictures which were emailed to us after. Highly recommend this tour, if you are staying in a hotel outside of Tulum, getting a taxi is easy enough to the location.

We met up with Louis and started the tour off with a nice cold lemonade with chia seeds. From beginning to end, we were treated with kindness and learned so much about the city as we hopped restaurants. We stopped at places that the locals ate at and tried delicious foods best tasted in Mexico. Really enjoyed the experience and would do it again!

The guide was great explaining the tradition and origins of the food. The dishes picked were authentic. In my email I asked for a certain food restriction for the person who was with me ,but it was not followed. I’m not sure if they read my specifications or if there weren’t any Mexican dishes in the list for the tour with those specifications. The guide only asked us if there weren’t any food allergies, so I assumed he was not notified by the company about our food request. Overall the experience was great.
