Check out what sea life looks like under a microscope, and explore the Indian Ocean. View mesmerising exhibits that features the dazzling colours of its fish, translucent jellies, shy octopuses and Knysna seahorses. Make a point to check out the new I&J Exhibit, a 10-meter long tunnel that gives a peek at a variety of subtropical species. The Two Oceans Aquarium is home to a few species that aren’t found at any other aquarium in the world. Among these are the strange, serpentine hagfish. it was very enjoyable!! it was my sons first time there and he was blown away by all the fishies and of course the shark tank was his favorite. I did notice that some of the original tanks where no longer there which was a bit of a bummer for me.

It is very organised so if you follow all of the signs you get to see everything without missing anything. And there is a lot of information above most of the tanks which means you not only get too see many underwater species, you also learn a bit more about them.

I loved ever second of the Aquarium. It was totally unexpected as I have traveled worldwide and been to many similar facilities. The Aquarium is on par with establishments in Singapore and Australia and except for the dolphins in Durban I rate it way better than Ushaka. The only negative I had was that it was my birthday and the online booking didn't make provision for me to get my free ticket. I paid for myself and 4 others and there was no consideration or place to give my details. Also I would say the photo prices are a bit ridiculous as we were recently at Gold Reef City where you had the option for only R20 to receive a link to your picture!!! This should be the norm as all those photos are printed and chucked as they just too pricey. That was as terrible waste for me..... considering you are trying to show the world a better place to live!!!!!
